DIY Personalisation Experience for Family & Friends Day

The Challenge

How can a simple coffee moment become something personal?

For a Family & Friends Day welcoming more than 1,500 guests, the goal was to create an experience that felt inclusive, creative and memorable — something that could bring people of all ages together while giving them something personal to take home.

The Concept

Introducing the Coffee Coaster Bar.

We created an accessible DIY experience where guests could design and personalise their own cork coffee coaster.

From playful illustrations to personal patterns, everyone was invited to create something entirely their own. A simple everyday object became a moment of creativity, connection and self-expression — designed for both young and old.

The Production

From a blank coaster to a personal keepsake.

We designed and produced the complete on-site experience, creating colourful, beautifully set tables that naturally invited guests to sit down and get creative.

To spark inspiration, the tablecloths themselves became part of the experience, featuring hand-drawn examples and playful illustrations that encouraged guests to experiment with their own designs.

The setup was carefully considered to feel vibrant and welcoming, while maintaining a polished and premium event environment.

The Experience

Throughout the Family & Friends Day, more than 1,500 guests had the opportunity to create their own coffee coaster.

With their coffee beside them and a blank cork coaster in front of them, guests could take a moment to design something personal — creating a small object with a story attached to it.

The finished coaster could travel home as a personal keepsake, or find a new place on a colleague’s desk at work.

A small gesture that extended the experience well beyond the event itself.
